We trust you all had a good Christmas and New Years.  I have been in several good missions conferences from Arkansas to Indiana  in December and January.  We have some excellent news and an urgent prayer request.  Grace and I will soon be parents.  This is an exciting answer to prayer.  The pregnancy is going well and the baby is due in early August.

I would like to request special prayer for Grace as she has a doctor’s appointment this Thursday.  Grace’s health has been improving, but we have seen a plateau and are trying to figure out where to go from here.  We have some new information that we hope we can act upon.  Please pray that the doctor would have wisdom and be willing to listen to us.  Please also be in prayer that we can have the required tests done while Grace is pregnant.

Last summer, I was attempting to get into one of two universities with summer programs teaching Nepali.  It didn’t work out with our schedule, but I recently discovered that the entire syllabus, audio files, and coursework are now available online for free.  During the next few months, I will be taking advantage of these materials to get a head start on the Nepali language.
